What’s it Like to Work with Costa Roofing? A Step-by-Step Guide
Property managers and owners ask me all the time: “What’s your process for getting our work done?” So, I thought I’d provide a quick rundown of what it’s like to have your roof repaired or maintained by Costa Roofing!

Getting a proposal
- Contact Costa Roofing for a free roof inspection: LA – (424) 218-6573 / San Diego – (858) 339-1848 / info@costaroof.com. Your call will be answered by a live human who will connect you to a Project Manager that services your area.
- If a Project Manager isn’t available at that moment, you will receive a call back the same day to schedule your initial inspection.
- INSPECTION DAY: You’ll meet with the Project Manager to walk around the site and then get on the roof (if you want to). The Project Manager needs interior access to see any known leaks and confirm the exact location(s). Once he’s on the roof, he’ll inspect the leaks, assess the condition and document the maintenance needs.
After the Inspection
- The Project Manager will provide a link to a folder with the “Before” photos of the roof. This folder is yours, regardless of whether any work is approved.
- You’ll also receive a proposal for leak repairs, with an option for maintenance, and a re-roof budget (as needed).
When the proposal is approved
- You’ll receive a start date from the Project Manager immediately following our weekly scheduling meeting (Tuesdays).
- On the first day of the project, the Service Manager will meet the crew with materials and review the work order onsite. If the tenant is available, he’ll introduce himself and make his contact info available for any issues that arise.
- Photos are taken at regular intervals throughout the project and maintained in the original folder, so you’ll have access to these photos forever.
After the Project
- Your warranty will be maintained in our database and you’ll be notified when that warranty expires.
- The warranty on your roof can be extended by continuing maintenance each year!
