The Villa Apartment Complex - Acrylic Restoration

The Villa building is the mid-rise anchor of an approximately 1,500-unit complex in Marina del Rey. This complex offers beautiful views and high-end units and is filled with demanding tenants.

The existing built-up style roof was in serviceable condition but had considerable granule loss.

Because of the lack of access for removing the existing roof or loading large membrane rolls it was determined that an acrylic restoration would be ideal for this roof.

Deficiencies were repaired, trash was removed and the entire roof was pressure washed.

To coincide with the project, the worst of the HVAC pans (approx. 15 of them) were replaced by a licensed HVAC contractor.

There was no space at the site for a crane, so all material was delivered in 5 gallon buckets and hauled up the elevator, then carried by hand up the flight of stairs to the roof.

Now this roof is protected by a reinforced acrylic restoration and a manufacturer’s NDL warranty!
