Bank Building – Santa Clarita, CA – Acrylic Restoration

This commercial building on a major street in the Santa Clarita area had experienced multiple rounds of tenant improvement work and as a result, had multiple leaks. Aside from the poorly installed patches at the added equipment, most of the roof was in serviceable condition, with some granule loss.

Another contractor had recommended a tear off and torch applied roofing system, but because of the high parapets and steep tile mansard, there would be an extended tear off and significant disruption to tenant operations.

After identifying all the leak locations, it was determined that if the TI repairs were corrected a restoration would be a great option for this roof and would eliminate the need for tenant closures.

Several repairs were made, and the broken access hatch was replaced. The roof was pressure washed and restored with a two-ply emulsion and acrylic restoration system.

This roof is now protected by a 15-year manufacturer’s NDL warranty!
