This auto repair complex in Redondo Beach had several leaks when the owners called Costa Roofing. While multiple areas needed to be fixed, much of the roof was in serviceable condition and a roof restoration or replacement was not within the planned budget.
It was determined that the leak areas would be repaired and general maintenance would be performed on the whole building to extend the life of the rest of the roof.
Three of the leaks required straight forward repairs. When the existing roof was removed at the fourth repair, a large crack in a 4”x12” beam was discovered. Luckily, we had warned the owner prior to the start of the work that there was significant sagging and there was likely an existing structural issue. Because everyone was prepared from the beginning of the job, the repair was made within a few days.
